Founded in 2000, Ugly Productions is an independent film production company dedicated to developing and producing distinctive, relevant, and evocative stories.

Our filmmakers have developed and produced award-winning narrative features, documentaries, and series that have screened at film festivals throughout the United States and internationally.

In addition to developing and producing our own projects, Ugly Productions partners with filmmakers and production companies on co-productions and provides production services for projects in the United States and abroad.

Currently, Ugly Productions is developing Seasons 2 and 3 of The Hunter’s Anthology, as well as a slate of feature film projects, including Human Again, a feature exploring the post-election unrest in Iran in the summer of 2009.
